Early Career and Al-Ahli DebutMohamed El-Shenawy began his footballing journey at the prestigious Cairo-based club, Al-Ahli. He made his league debut on May 6, 2008, against ENPPI, marking the start of a remarkable career. In that same year, El-Shenawy and Al-Ahli celebrated their triumph as Egyptian Premier League champions.
Loan Spells and Return to Al-Ahli
Seeking more playing time, El-Shenawy joined Tala Al Gaish in 2009. In 2013, he embarked on loan stints at Haras El Hodoud and Petrojet. After three seasons of consistent performances at Petrojet, El-Shenawy returned to Al-Ahli in 2016.
Domestic Success with Al-Ahli
Upon his return to Al-Ahli, El-Shenawy played a pivotal role in the team's 2017 Egyptian Premier League title victory and the Egyptian Cup conquest. In 2018, he celebrated his third league triumph with the Red Devils.
International Debut and National Team Record
On March 23, 2018, El-Shenawy earned his first international cap for Egypt in a friendly match against Portugal. Since then, he has continued to serve as a reliable custodian for his country.
