Momofuku Ando was born in Taiwan and was of Japanese descent. He went on to become the founder of Nissin Food Products, a company specializing in the production of instant noodles. The company was established in 1948.
Invention of Instant Noodles

According to some accounts, this invention followed months of extensive experimentation. Initially, the product only had a chicken flavor, but additional flavors were introduced later on.

In 1971, Ando came up with the idea of packaging instant noodles in special plastic containers, eliminating the need for additional cookware. This innovation revolutionized the convenience and accessibility of instant noodles.
