Mose Allison, an American pianist, talented performer, and musician, is considered one of the pioneers of true jazz music in America. He was born on November 11, 1927, in Tallahatchie County, located in the Mississippi Delta. Allison spent his early years on his grandfather's farm, near the village of Tippo. At the age of five, he demonstrated his affinity for music when he tried to teach himself to play the piano. Soon, Mose began studying music under the guidance of experienced mentors. Over time, he developed a serious passion for jazz, which would become his lifelong love.

In high school, Mose favored the music of great jazz performers such as Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington. Influenced by these American jazz legends, Mose Allison, a talented musician, was born. Interestingly, the piano was not the only instrument Mose excelled at. He also mastered the trumpet, which he played throughout his school and college years. After a year of studying at the University of Mississippi, where he earned an honorary bachelor's degree, Allison joined the army. Even in the army, Mose did not forget about music. He often performed in various concerts as part of the army jazz band.

After his military service, Mose Allison fully focused on his music career. Over the course of several years, the American performer released several albums that would later become extremely popular.
