Biography of Mukhiddin Khayruddinov

Mukhiddin Khayruddinov, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences and Professor, was born on March 16, 1953, in the Republic of Uzbekistan. He is the head of the Department of Inclusive Pedagogy and Andragogy at the Crimean Republican Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education. He is also an academician of the International Slavic Academy of Education named after J.A. Comenius.

Education and Career

Mukhiddin Khayruddinov completed his secondary education at School No. 14 named after M.V. Lomonosov in the Kurgantepinsky District of Andijan Region in 1970. He then studied at the Historical Faculty of Fergana State Pedagogical University, where he graduated with honors in 1978. He continued his education in graduate school and defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences in Moscow in 1985. In 2003, he defended his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences in Kiev.

In addition to his academic achievements, Khayruddinov served in the ranks of the Northern Fleet of the USSR from 1971 to 1973 and is now a reserve officer.

Throughout his career, Khayruddinov held various positions at educational institutions. From 1979 to 1992, he worked at Fergana State Pedagogical University, serving as a teacher, head of the Department of Theory and History of Pedagogy, dean of the Faculty of Russian Language and Literature with a Department of Foreign Languages, and vice-rector for academic affairs. From 1992, he became an associate professor at the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology at the Crimean Republican Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Education Personnel.

From 1994 to 2005, Khayruddinov worked as the head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, dean of the Pedagogical Faculty, vice-rector for scientific work, vice-rector for academic affairs, and the first vice-rector of the Crimean Engineering Pedagogical University. From 2005 to 2007, he was a professor at the Department of Pedagogy at the Vernadsky Taurida National University.

Since 2007, Khayruddinov has been the head of the Department of Inclusive Pedagogy and Andragogy at the Crimean Republican Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education.

Contributions and Achievements

Mukhiddin Khayruddinov is actively involved in the socio-political life of Crimea. He initiated the creation of the Association of Crimean Tatar Education Workers "Maarifchi" and the Crimean branch of the All-Ukrainian Society of Historians of Pedagogy. He is a researcher in the field of ethnopedagogy and has published over 170 scientific works, including textbooks and monographs.

For his contributions to education, Khayruddinov has been awarded the "Excellence in Education of Ukraine" medal in 2003 and the honorary title of "Honored Worker of Education of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea" in 2003. He has also received honorary awards and certificates from the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
