Early Career

Munir Mohand Mohamedi was born on May 10, 1989, in Melilla, Spain. He began his football journey with the youth academy of Spanish club Ceuta. However, due to intense competition within the first team, Mohamedi primarily featured for their reserve squad.

Club Career

In 2009, Mohamedi joined La Liga club Almería but continued to play for their reserves. A year later, he returned to his hometown club Melilla in the Spanish Segunda División B. On May 15, 2011, he made his debut against Cádiz in the third tier of Spanish football. By 2012, Mohamedi had solidified his position as Melilla's starting goalkeeper.

In the summer of 2014, Mohamedi earned a move to fellow Segunda División B club Numancia. He made his debut for Numancia on October 19 in a match against Las Palmas.

International Career

On March 28, 2015, Mohamedi made his international debut for Morocco in a friendly against Uruguay. In 2017, he was part of Morocco's squad for the African Cup of Nations in Gabon, making appearances against Togo, Ivory Coast, Egypt, and DR Congo.

Later Years

Mohamedi remained Numancia's first-choice goalkeeper for several seasons. In the 2018–19 campaign, he played a pivotal role in helping the club secure promotion to La Liga 2. Mohamedi's consistent performances earned him a transfer to Hatayspor in the Turkish Süper Lig in 2020, where he continues to be a key player.
