Biography of Nan Grey
Nan Grey, born Eschal Loleet Grey Miller on July 25, 1918, in Houston, Texas, USA, was an American film actress. She gained popularity in the 1930s, working with studios such as Universal. Despite her petite stature of 1.65m, Nan Grey starred in successful films, including "Three Smart Girls" and "Three Smart Girls Grow Up" alongside Deanna Durbin.

In addition to her successful roles, Nan also appeared in supporting roles in lesser-known films. She played Connie Dawson in the 1936 melodrama "Sea Spoilers" with John Wayne and appeared in two musicals with Gloria Jean, "The Under-Pup" in 1939 and "A Little Bit of Heaven" in 1940. Nan Grey was also a member of the ensemble cast in the fantasy thriller "The Invisible Man Returns" with Cedric Hardwicke and Vincent Price, as well as the drama "House of Seven Gables."
Her last film was the crime drama "Under Age" in 1941, although she continued her work in radio and soap opera "Those We Love" until 1945, and remained active in theater productions until 1950. Nan Grey took a break from her acting career after marrying popular singer Frankie Laine on June 15, 1950, and spent the rest of her life with him. However, she made appearances as a guest star, including in the western TV series "Rawhide," where she performed a song related to the show.
During the 1960s, Nan Grey ventured into the field of invention and developed a cosmetic mirror for nearsighted people. One of her clients was Grace, Princess of Monaco (Princess Grace of Monaco). Nan Grey passed away on her 75th birthday on July 25, 1993, in San Diego, California, due to heart failure.
