Biography of Nana Kiknadze
Early Life
Nana Nugzarovna Kiknadze was born on October 4, 1968, in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. She comes from the ancient noble family of Kiknadze, which traces its roots back to the time of Queen Tamar. Nana grew up in an intellectual family. Her father was a professor at the Tbilisi State Conservatory and a renowned flutist, while her mother was a biologist. Nana's early years were intertwined with art, music, and creativity. She attended an experimental school associated with the conservatory, focusing on the development of her vocal talents. In addition to her studies, Nana performed in a folk dance ensemble and participated in theater workshops. She decided to pursue higher education in journalism at the Tbilisi State University, where she was crowned "Miss University" during her studies.

Journalism
As a certified journalist, Nana worked as a correspondent for the newspapers "Evening Tbilisi" and GT. She also served as a member of the press service for the Georgian Wine Exchange. Later, she was invited to host a music television show.
Turning Point
Nana's life took a turn when she traveled to the United States. Initially planning to stay for a couple of months to improve her English and journalistic skills, fate had other plans, and she ended up staying for years. Nana enrolled in a television academy in New York and worked as a correspondent for a local TV channel. One day, while attending a church event where the Iveron Icon of the Mother of God was displayed, she met Alexander Gordon, who was representing TV-6 channel. Nana confidently revealed her involvement in journalism and her experience in reporting for television. Impressed by her professionalism, Gordon offered her a collaboration opportunity.
Alexander Gordon
After their fateful meeting, a romantic relationship blossomed between Nana and Alexander. They not only collaborated professionally but also had a passionate love affair. However, their relationship was tumultuous, marked by Gordon's pathological jealousy, which even led to violent episodes. Despite the challenges, they continued to work together, hosting shows such as "Private Case" and "Assembly of Misconceptions." Eventually, their creative partnership ended, and Nana embarked on her independent path in journalism.
Acting Career
Nana's acting career began in 1992 when she was approached on the street by unknown men who offered her a role in a movie called "Act Five." Initially, she refused, but they persisted and eventually convinced her parents to allow her to participate in the film. This marked the successful start of her acting career. Over the years, she appeared in various Georgian projects, taking on leading roles. In the mid-90s, she had to put her acting career on hold due to family circumstances. However, she returned to the screen in the new millennium, playing the main character in the tragicomedy "Mars" alongside Gosha Kutsenko. She continued to act in films and TV series, including "Primadonna" and its sequel "The Banker's Friend."
Personal Life
In her youth, Nana was not particularly romantic, although many boys in school had a crush on her. During the filming of "Action Five," Nana's co-star fell in love with her and tried to marry her using old Caucasian traditions depicted in "Kidnapping, Caucasian Style." Nana was horrified and tried to escape, eventually seeking refuge with the help of her potential groom's uncle, who intervened and understood that forcing the marriage would not lead to happiness. Nana later married financier George Shaduri, with whom she had a daughter named Nika. However, their marriage ended in betrayal when Nana discovered her husband's affair with her best friend, who was also pregnant with his child.

Nana Kiknadze continues to work in journalism and television. In 2022, she preferred to stay out of the public eye, maintaining a connection with her fans through her personal blog, where she occasionally shares news and photos.
