Biography of Nina Rozantseva

Early Life and Education

Nina Rozantseva, a Soviet and Belarusian actress of film and theater, was born on September 19, 1949, in the village of Glovsevichi, Slonimsky District, Grodno Oblast. In 1973, she graduated from the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (VGIK), specifically from the workshop of I.V. Talankin.

Career

After completing her studies at VGIK, Rozantseva began working at "Belarusfilm" in 1973. She made her debut in the film industry in 1974 with the movie "Because I Love" directed by Igor Dobrolyubov. Some of her most notable roles in films include "Ivan," "Neighbors," "Letters on Marble," "Denis' Stories," "It all started from the cat," and "His Vacation."

Since 1981, she also performed at the Minsk Studio Theater for Film Actors. Rozantseva received the Diploma of the Union of Theatrical Figures of Belarus for her role as Mouse King in the play "The Nutcracker." Additionally, she was honored with the Certificate of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus in 2000 and the Medal "For Contribution to the Development of Belarusian Culture" from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus in 2004. She was also awarded the Medal "For Outstanding Contributions to Belarusian Cinema" by the Belarusian Union of Cinematographers in 2004.

Personal Life and Death

Nina Rozantseva passed away on August 16, 2012. She was laid to rest in the village of Aronova Sloboda, Papernyansky Rural Council, Minsk Oblast.
