Biography of Naomi Russell

Naomi Russell is an American adult film actress of Slovak-Jewish descent. She was born into a Jewish family, with her father being a rabbi. Naomi received homeschooling until the age of 13. Prior to entering the adult film industry, she worked as a legal analyst and a nurse. After obtaining a job in the court system, she left her medical practice, which she had started at the age of 16.

Early Career and Personal Life

Before pursuing a career as a porn actress, Russell had a stable relationship with her first boyfriend. They spent eight years together, with four of those years being in an official marriage. However, as she began her adult film career, Naomi divorced her husband. She explained her decision by stating that her husband was a "bad person" who also had a friendly relationship with her boss. This situation made it impossible for her to leave her spouse and continue working. Furthermore, Russell admitted that her husband had been the only man in her life up until that point. As a wife, she not only refrained from intimacy but also from interacting with other men. However, this sexual restraint eventually became tiresome, and filming pornographic movies became the only way for her to explore her sexuality.

Career in Adult Films

Naomi made her debut in an erotic film at the age of 21 in August 2005. As of February 2009, she had appeared in over 200 films. Despite preferring to work four days a week, her tight shooting schedule often left her with only one day off out of the seven. Before entering the porn industry, Naomi had no experience with anal sex or sexual encounters with women.

Awards and Recognition

In 2007, Naomi Russell won the AVN Award for Best New Starlet and the AVN Award for Best POV Scene with Tommy Gunn in "Jack's POV #2." She was also named Starlet of the Year at the 2006 CAVR Awards.
