Biography of Nasser Al-Rashid

Nasser Al-Rashid, a businessman from Saudi Arabia, is currently an influential advisor to the Saudi royal family and a billionaire. Born in 1939, he is a graduate of the University of Texas, to which he provides financial support. In honor of his generous donations, the university named a training center after him, the "Dr. Nasser Al-Rashid Strength and Training Center." Although his name is not included in Forbes' list of the world's richest people, Nasser Al-Rashid's personal fortune, like that of many other Saudi insiders, cannot be accurately assessed using publicly available information.

Yacht Ownership

Nasser Al-Rashid owns one of the largest yachts in the world, the 108-meter "Lady Moura," named after his former wife. It is reported that Rashid paid over $200 million for the yacht. On May 19, 2007, the yacht ran aground off the coast of Cannes, where the film festival was taking place. "Lady Moura" was docked in Monaco, Monte Carlo. On February 2, 2010, the yacht was anchored in Palma, Majorca, but later returned to Monaco.

Currently, Nasser Al-Rashid is married to a Belgian-Algerian woman named Safia El Malqui since 1998.
