Early Life and Family History

Anastasia Kerbenghen, a Russian actress with German roots, was born in Legnica, Poland, on March 2, 1988. Her mother is German, and she speaks German and Russian fluently. According to family lore, her ancestor Baron von Kerbenghen gambled away his fortune and committed suicide.

Acting Education

Kerbenghen received intensive training in acting techniques at Actors Space in Berlin and the School of Drama of German Sidakov. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Theatre and Cinema from the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (RATI-GITIS), where she studied under Valery Belyakovich. Additionally, she studied jazz vocals at the Moscow College of Improvised Music and completed the Berlinale Acting Class in 2020.

Theatre Career

Kerbenghen began her acting career at the Theatre on Southwestern, founded by her mentor Valery Belyakovich. Notable stage roles include Marina Tsvetaeva in "Marina. Rilke. 1926," Rita in "Fal'sh" at the Taganka Theatre, and Nina in Oleg Tsarev's "Women Without Borders."

Film and Television Career

Kerbenghen made her screen debut in 2012 with a leading role in the adventure film "Walking on the Tightrope." She reunited with former co-star Sergey Tsoy in the short film "Child Prodigy" (2016). She portrayed the younger version of Tamara in Yana Romanenko's drama "Loveless" (2017) and played a mother in the long-running soap opera "Call Me Mom."

Kerbenghen's breakout role came as Tamara in the film adaptation of Fyodor Dostoevsky's novel "The Idiot." She also starred in the sketch comedy series "#SefyaFeda" alongside actors from the popular sitcom "Kitchen." In 2020, she appeared as the antagonist Inessa in the third season of the dramedy "I.P. Pirogova."

Personal Life

Kerbenghen is married and lives a private life. She enjoys playing the piano, horseback riding, skiing, and fencing. She is also fluent in English and French. Her hobbies include traveling to exotic destinations and watching Russian cinema.

In 2021, Kerbenghen starred as German philologist Maria Schiller in "The Fruits of Knowledge," a film that offers a unique perspective on life in Nazi-occupied territories. She also played surgeon Olga Kolesnikova in the television series "Mikhailov Method."
