Early Life and EducationNatalya Buzko is a Soviet and Ukrainian actress, born on [insert date]. She graduated from the Odessa Institute of Marine Engineers in 1985 with a degree in engineering.
Acting Career
While studying at the institute, Buzko attended pantomime courses where she met actors who later became known as the comedy troupe "Masks". She made her television debut as a member of the troupe. Her successful debut in feature films came with her role as brunette Masha in Kira Muratova's psychological drama "Asthenic Syndrome" in 1989. She went on to appear in several other films by Muratova.
Recognition and Awards
In 2007, Natalya Buzko received an award for Best Supporting Role at the Brigantina Film Festival in Berdyansk for her performance in Kira Muratova's "Two in One". She competed in her category against Svetlana Nemolyaeva, Irina Melnik, and Polina Kutepova. The film "Two in One" was recognized as the "Best Film of the CIS and Baltic Countries" at the Nika Film Awards and was also considered the breakthrough film at the XVIII Kinotavr. The international premiere of the film took place in early May at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York, founded by Robert De Niro.
Personal Life
Natalya Buzko was married to Alexander Postolenko and they have two children together: daughter Ganya (born on August 7, 1986) and son Anton (born on July 24, 1999). On April 25, 2009, Buzko became a grandmother with the birth of her granddaughter Yasna.
