Presidential Platform
Pirc Musar's platform emphasizes long-term thinking and consensus-building. She stated, "As a country, we are regressing in terms of development. Other countries are overtaking us, including because we do not have continuity of projects in key areas and we start from scratch with each change of government, often simply because there is no trust in what was prepared by their predecessors." Her platform has four key points:
Healthcare reform by relying on the public system and concessionaires and including private initiative
Pension reform with a long-term care system, possibly reforming social benefits and introducing a universal basic income ("Poverty in old age is unacceptable in a relatively rich society like Slovenia!")
Combating climate change, preserving drinking water reserves, groundwater, and biodiversity
Participation in NATO's collective defense system, enhancing cybersecurity, working within the EU, and ensuring energy, water, and food supply
Personal Life
Pirc Musar is married to businessman Aleš Musar. They have a son, Max (born 2001). They own an estate called "Russian Dacha."
