Natasha O'Keeffe: The British Actress on the Rise
Early Life and EducationNatasha O'Keeffe was born on 1 December 1986, in Brighton, England, to Irish parents. Her zodiac sign is Scorpio, and she spent her childhood in London and the Irish town of Cavan, where her grandparents lived. Natasha's artistic abilities emerged from an early age, and after graduating from high school, she enrolled in the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in Cardiff, where she studied acting.
Film and Television Career
O'Keeffe made her screen debut in the music video for "Falling Down" by Oasis. In 2009, she joined the cast of the hit series "Misfits," which followed five young adults who gained superpowers after a freak storm. Natasha appeared in the show's fourth season in 2012.
She went on to star in the 2013 film "Filth," a dark comedy-drama about a corrupt police officer, and the critically acclaimed crime drama series "Peaky Blinders," set in 1920s England. O'Keeffe portrayed Lizzie Stark, a complex and enigmatic character.
Other notable roles include "Sherlock," "Granchester," "Jekyll & Hyde," "Rebellion," "Temple," and "Intergalactic." In 2021, she joined the cast of the fantasy series "The Wheel of Time," playing the character of Selene.
