Nate Berkus, a renowned American interior designer, was born on September 17, 1971, in Southern California. However, he spent most of his childhood in the suburbs of Minneapolis. His mother, Nancy Golden, was a well-known designer and decorator. Berkus admits that he became interested in design and room decor at an early age. Berkus miraculously survived, but Fernando remains among the missing.
