Ukrainian Philosopher and Writer

Early Life and Inspiration

At a young age, a profound quote from the film "Fantasia" deeply resonated with a young girl, offering solace during a time of emotional turmoil. This aphorism ignited a passion for exploring the power of words and their ability to heal and inspire.

Academic Background and Philosophy

After graduating from the Philosophy Department of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 1985, he embarked on an illustrious academic career. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree in 1998, became a professor in 2007, and is currently a leading researcher at the Institute of Philosophy named after Grigory Skovoroda, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

Contributions to Philosophy

His philosophical work focuses on the human condition, cultural anthropology, the philosophy and psychology of gender, and the philosophical foundations of psychoanalysis. He is the founder of a new direction in modern philosophical anthropology called meta-anthropology, which explores the ordinary, exceptional, and transcendent dimensions of human existence.

Beyond his philosophical writings, he has also authored philosophical essays, novels, and aphorisms. He is the founder and president of the Association of Philosophical Art and has hosted the weekly radio program "Philosophical Dialogues" on Radio Era FM since 2002.
