Nemanja Maksimović was born in the picturesque resort town of Banja Koviljača, western Serbia. His passion for football ignited at a young age, leading him to join the youth academy of Red Star Belgrade.
International Success with Serbia
In 2013, Maksimović played a pivotal role in Serbia's triumph at the UEFA European Under-19 Championship in Lithuania. As captain, he guided his team to a sensational victory in the final against France. The following year, he captained Serbia to a bronze medal at the UEFA European Under-19 Championship in Hungary.
Breakthrough at Domzale and Transfer to Astana
Maksimović's performances with Serbia attracted the attention of Slovenian club Domžale, where he made his professional debut in 2013. In 2015, he transferred to Astana in Kazakhstan, where he quickly established himself as a key player.
