Nicole Parker is an American actress and model. She grew up as the only child in a divided family, which led her to create her own worlds and fill her loneliness by acting in her own plays. These fantastic worlds she created helped her develop her future acting talent, and her first "film set," simply her own room, became the first step towards a successful career.

As a young girl, Nicole dreamed of becoming the next Diana Ross, Wilona from "Good Times," a doctor, a teacher, and even a superhero. Amidst these fleeting fantasies, the dark-skinned beauty knew one thing for sure - she wanted to be an actress. She dedicated special time to playing in her own plays and filling her loneliness.

Nicole attended a private all-girls school in Baltimore, where she was one of the few "colored" students. She shared how her parents helped her and saved her from a "beginning personal crisis and spiraling downwards." Despite her "country girl" status among her classmates, she excelled in her studies. She performed in plays at the local theater and, upon graduating, she knew exactly what she wanted to do next.

In the film, she portrayed a young African American girl who decides to explore a lesbian relationship. She was only 25 at the time, and this role was truly bold and risky. The sexual scenes were filmed in a way that earned the movie a serious age rating, prohibiting anyone under 17 from viewing it.

Following her debut, Nicole appeared in television and several low-budget films. In 1997, she appeared in Paul Thomas Anderson's "Boogie Nights," and in 1999, she starred in Risa Bramon Garcia's directorial debut, "200 Cigarettes."
