Currently residing in New York City, Nicole is studying to become a veterinarian at a local community college. She first appeared on reality television on December 3, 2009, when "Jersey Shore" premiered. Initially, Nicole had trouble connecting with her housemates, but she eventually formed a close friendship with Jenni Farley. According to her official biography released as part of the show, Nicole is actively looking for her ideal partner. She even goes to the gym wearing full makeup to make an impression on muscular guys. One notable characteristic of Nicole is her tall height, which has been both an advantage and a disadvantage at different times in her life.

Criticism and Controversy

As mentioned, "Jersey Shore" received significant criticism from various organizations. The show was accused of perpetuating stereotypical Italian immigrant portrayals, which further fueled public outrage. The "National Italian American Foundation" and the "Order Sons of Italy in America" accused the show of propagating stereotypes and inciting racial animosity. However, the channel's management stated that not all cast members were of Italian descent, and in subsequent episodes, the cast members themselves refuted this claim in their welcome speeches.

In February 2010, Jenni Farley admitted on the Fox News show "The Strategy Room" that neither she nor Nicole were of Italian descent. It was also revealed that another cast member, Ronnie, was half Puerto Rican. On "The View" on February 23, 2010, Nicole confirmed that she primarily identifies as Chilean but also has Sicilian ancestry. However, this contradicts other sources, which generally consider Nicole to be of pure Chilean heritage.

In 2004, Nicole was accused of selling alcohol to underage individuals at a party held in her home. This incident occurred after the death of an underage individual, Michael Trankali, in an alcohol-related car accident. The deceased individual's parents spoke to the press, claiming that Nicole continues to promote drinking in her television projects.
