Nika Medisan, a renowned Ukrainian fashion designer, was born on February 20, 1995, in Kakhovka, Ukraine. Her artistic journey began at the age of 15 when she enrolled in Tavriia Lyceum of Arts, specializing in painting. After completing her secondary education, she pursued her design studies at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design.

Establishment of NIKA MEDISAN

In 2014, at the tender age of 18, Medisan founded her eponymous label, NIKA MEDISAN. Her debut collection, "FREEDOM OF CHOICE," garnered attention for its innovative use of faux fur and leather, highlighting her commitment to animal welfare.

Collaborations and Runway Appearances

Following the launch of NIKA MEDISAN, Medisan collaborated with several designers and brands. She designed a collection for MOBEUS by Yevhen Yevtukhov and showcased it at Ukrainian Fashion Week. Subsequently, she launched her own line of evening gowns, featuring DJ and Kiss FM host Ira Champion as the face of the collection.

In 2015, NIKA MEDISAN presented its F/W15-16 collection at Mercedes Benz Kiev Fashion Day, gaining international recognition. The brand also introduced a secondary line, BY NIKA MEDISAN, and collaborated with Harley-Davidson®Kyiv on a collection that debuted at Ukrainian Fashion Week.

Social Activism through Fashion

Medisan's passion for animal rights and environmental protection has been a driving force in her work. In 2016, she partnered with WWF and MULTIPLEX cinemas to create a short film that addressed ecological issues, replacing a traditional runway show. The film featured LAYAH and vegan restaurateur Rudolf Kraevsky.

In 2017, NIKA MEDISAN collaborated with ECO CARS to explore the intersection of fashion and technology. Combining sustainable materials with electric vehicles, the brand presented a non-commercial collection. NIKA MEDISAN also created a collection with Generation TR by Regina Todorenko, featuring influencers and dance performers.
