Nikita Kleschev: A Rising Star in Russian Cinema

Russian actor Nikita Kleschev attributes his success to his distinct individuality, unconventional thinking, simplicity, and integrity. These qualities enabled him to secure roles while still a student at GITIS, paving the way for his meteoric rise in the Russian film industry.

Childhood and Early Life

Born on May 24, 2001, in Minsk, Nikita is now a self-proclaimed Muscovite of Belarusian descent. His creative spark was ignited at an early age and nurtured at a music school, where he excelled in piano and recorder, later teaching himself guitar. Alongside his musical pursuits, he honed his physical abilities in various sports, including football, basketball, volleyball, swimming, and rock climbing. However, Nikita's greatest passion lay in performing, and he found it unfulfilling in traditional concert settings. He eventually formed his own jazz band but continued to search for his true calling. Ultimately, he decided to pursue acting and enrolled in GITIS in 2018 under the tutelage of renowned actor Oleg Menshikov.

Education and Early Career

This marked a pivotal chapter in Nikita's life, as he began working closely with screen icons he had previously admired from afar. Despite the demanding academic workload, he yearned to appear on screen and began recording self-tapes and acquired an agent, leading to his first film roles. Nikita's fascination with duality prompted him to gravitate toward antihero roles, excelling in portraying both charming villains and utterly unlikeable characters.

Nikita's filmography commenced with the 2021 thriller "Food Block," where he played Maksim Buravtsev, a pioneer who doubles as a vampire. In the same year, he appeared in a minor role in the four-part melodrama "From Heaven to Earth" and the disaster movie "Alone," alongside notable actors such as Nadezhda Kalegnova, Maxim Ivanov, and Viktor Dobronravov.

Personal Life

Nikita maintains an active presence on Instagram, sharing updates and photographs, but he remains largely private about his personal life. It can be inferred that his career takes precedence amidst his busy filming schedule. When asked about matters of the heart, he responded enigmatically: "All our beliefs are born out of love. And I hope my journey with love will continue to surprise me!"

Present

In 2023, Nikita made a splash with several notable projects. In the eight-episode melodrama "Love Will Overcome Everything," he played a pivotal villain, immersing himself in the character's motivations and understanding his flawed humanity. Conversely, in the film "To Heaven," he portrayed a dreamer with his head in the clouds, a role he affectionately refers to as a "braindead." His filmography also includes the comedy "I Want! I Will!," where he shared the screen with Ekaterina Guseva and Valentina Lyapina.

Nikita Kleschev is a promising young actor poised to make an indelible mark on the Russian film industry. His ability to portray a diverse range of characters with depth and conviction bodes well for a long and successful career.
