Ukrainian Artist: A Multidisciplinary Creative

Early Life and Education

Born in 1988 in Odessa, the Ukrainian artist is known for his multifaceted work in painting, filmmaking, installations, and performance art. He holds a degree in philosophy from the Odessa I. I. Mechnikov National University, which he obtained in 2011.

Exhibitions and Recognition

The artist has showcased his work in notable solo exhibitions, including "My Next Exhibition" (Museum of Modern Art Odessa, 2017) and "Instead of an Exhibition" (Detenpyla Gallery, Lviv, 2017). He has also garnered recognition through group exhibitions, such as "PinchukArtPrize" (PinchukArtCentre, 2015) and "Enfant terrible: Odessa Conceptualism" (National Art Museum of Ukraine, 2015).

Artistic Projects and Collaborations

In 2014, he participated in the "Rosdilovy" project alongside writer Sergei Zhadan in various Ukrainian cities. In 2015, he received a nomination for the PinchukArtCentre Prize for his work "Songs of the Southern Slavs." He presented this work as part of the main project of the IV Odessa Biennale in August 2015.

Curatorial Experience and Awards

The artist served as an assistant curator for the 5th Odessa Biennale in 2017. In 2018, he earned the First Special Prize at the PinchukArtCentre for his work "Voice of Thin Silence."
