Nikolai Sednin is recognized for his innovative artistic techniques. In 1998-99, he developed the "HEALING THROUGH ART" program, which explores the therapeutic power of art for mental rehabilitation. Additionally, he established the "DI-ART" movement in 2000, pioneering a unique style that blends digital and traditional art forms.

He has created commissioned portraits for renowned individuals, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, French actor Pierre Richard, President of the World Crafts Council Leila Hayat, and fashion designer Pierre Cardin.
