Biography of Nina Lekareva
Nina Lekareva was born on March 27, 1950, in Almaty, Kazakhstan. She graduated from the architectural faculty of the Kazakh Institute of Construction and Civil Engineering in 1973. Lekareva holds a candidate of architecture degree and is an associate professor at the Urban Planning Department of Samara State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering. She is a corresponding member of the Moscow Academy of Architecture and a member of the Association of Landscape Architects of Russia.
Achievements and Contributions
In 1998, Lekareva was awarded the prize of the European Association for Architectural Education. She also participated in the international scientific and technical conference "Architecture and Engineering" in Plymouth, United Kingdom, in 1999. Since 2004, she has been a member of the Union of Architects of Russia.
Career
From 1967 to 1968, Lekareva worked as a draftsman at the Research Institute for Grain Projects in Almaty. After graduating in 1973, she became an assistant at the Urban Planning Department of Samara State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering. Since 1990, she has been an associate professor at the same department, where she teaches courses on landscape design, supervises diploma projects, and guides graduate students. Lekareva also works in the field of additional education.
Projects and Constructions
Lekareva has been involved in various projects and constructions throughout her career. She co-authored the project for the improvement of a residential area with the development of a children's play area on Vladimirskaya Street, 29. She also worked on the reconstruction project of the "Nadezhda" pioneer camp for Kuybyshevglavsnab, as well as the working project for the sports building of the same camp. Lekareva was also involved in the project for the improvement of the entrance area of the "Kosmos-2" pioneer camp at the Strommashina plant.
She is a co-author of the monograph "Samarskaya Luka: Current State and Forecast of Landscape and Urban Planning Development." Lekareva has authored more than 70 publications in local and central media on urban planning, architecture, and landscape design, including the Russian Architectural Encyclopedia. Additionally, she has worked on projects such as the sketch project for the bell tower of the church in Utevka village, Neftekamsk district, and the landscape project for the improvement of a private land ownership on Krasnoglinskoye Highway in Samara.
