Biography of Nora Eddington
Nora Eddington was an American actress and the second wife of the famous actor Errol Flynn. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, into the family of Jack Eddington, a Los Angeles County Sheriff's office employee.

Meeting Errol Flynn
At the age of 19, in February 1943, Nora met Errol Flynn while working in court where the legendary case of Flynn's alleged seduction of a minor was being heard. Flynn was acquitted, and he and Nora began a romantic relationship. They got married in Mexico in 1944, and their daughter Deirdre was born in 1945. However, their marriage was already falling apart by the time their second daughter, Rory, was born. Nora and Errol divorced in 1949, but they managed to maintain a relatively amicable relationship. The children remained under Eddington's custody.

Marriages and Later Life
After the divorce, Nora married singer Dick Haymes, and their relationship became a popular topic in the tabloids of the time. The marriage lasted for four years, during which Eddington experienced a miscarriage. She then married Richard Black, and their marriage endured until Eddington's death. Together, they had a son named Kevin, who tragically passed away from leukemia at the age of 10.
Writing and Legacy
Nora Eddington contributed to Charles Higham's book "Untold Story," dedicated to Errol Flynn. However, she spoke negatively about Higham's work, considering it largely fabricated. In 1960, Eddington published her own book, "Errol Flynn and Me," about her first husband.
Nora Eddington passed away in 2001 after a long battle with kidney failure at the age of 77. She was laid to rest at the Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery, next to her son Kevin. Following in their mother's footsteps, Rory and Deirdre Eddington-Flynn pursued careers in the film industry, with Rory becoming a photographer and cinematographer, and Deirdre becoming an actress and costume designer.
