Odin Lund Biron: Early Life and Education

Odin Lund Biron was born in Minnesota, USA. His interest in theater began in his early years, and he pursued his passion by attending the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, USA) from 2002-2004, majoring in Musical Theatre.

Move to Russia and MKhAT School-Studio

In 2004, Biron decided to embark on a new chapter in his life by moving to Russia. He enrolled in the prestigious MKhAT School-Studio, under the tutelage of Konstantin Raikin. During his time there, he honed his acting skills through pivotal roles in notable productions, including "Hamlet," for which he received the prestigious "Golden Leaf Award" for Best Male Role in 2009.

Career at Satirikon Theatre

Upon graduating from the MKhAT School-Studio, Biron joined the acclaimed Satirikon Theatre in 2009. He has since performed in various productions, including "Money" based on Alexander Ostrovsky's play, earning critical acclaim for his portrayal of Baklushin.

Film and Television Debut

Biron made his Russian film debut in 2009 in Andrei Eshpai's historical drama "Ivan the Terrible." The following year, he showcased his range in the youth melodrama "Capital of Sin." However, his breakthrough role came in 2010-2011 when he joined the popular television series "Interns" as the American intern Phil Richards.

Musical Pursuits and Teaching

Beyond acting, Biron is also an accomplished musician. He performs as a violinist with the band "Dr. Lector." Additionally, he has returned to his alma mater, the MKhAT School-Studio, as an assistant-translator.
