Early Life and Career Beginnings

Oleh Zhenyukh was born in Lviv, Ukraine, and began his football journey in the youth academy of Karpaty Lviv. In 2004, he made his professional debut for FC Halychyna-Karpaty before moving on to Karpaty-2.

Debut for FC Karpaty

Zhenyukh's breakthrough came on May 16, 2006, when he debuted for the first team of Karpaty in a match against FC CSKA Kyiv. He entered the game as a substitute for Oleksiy Suchkov in the 85th minute.

Rise to the Premier League

The 2005/2006 season saw Karpaty secure promotion to the Ukrainian Premier League after finishing second in the First League, just behind Zorya Luhansk. Zhenyukh made his Premier League debut on November 19, 2006, in a match against FC Chornomorets Odessa. He started the game but was replaced by Yaroslav Martynyuk in the 84th minute.

International Call-up and Departure from Karpaty

In September 2007, Zhenyukh received a call-up to the Ukraine U21 national team by coach Oleksiy Mykhaylychenko, but the call-up was later withdrawn. Zhenyukh left Karpaty in 2014.
