Biography of Oleg Solovyov
Oleg Solovyov was born in Irkutsk, but spent most of his childhood in the town of Gusinoe Ozero in the Selenginsky district of Buryatia. He grew up like any ordinary boy, with a passion for sports, particularly karate, and no one could have guessed that even at a young age, Oleg dreamt of becoming an actor. After completing nine grades of secondary school, Oleg Solovyov went on to graduate from the Gusinoe Ozero Energy College and began working at the Gusinoozerskaya Power Station in 1998. It seemed like his destiny was predetermined. However, it was at that moment when he finally decided to try his hand at acting. Many were surprised by this choice, but not Oleg's mother, who had long recognized his acting talent. "I still believe that the lucky star that helped me achieve success is the love and understanding of my mother," says Oleg Anatolyevich. "My father, on the other hand, was strongly against it. He believed that a person should first obtain a practical education, which is indispensable in our time, and then pursue their dream." In the same year, Oleg Solovyov enrolled in the Irkutsk Theater School. However, after only two years, he dropped out and returned to Gusinoe Ozero. He later explained his decision by not wanting to be a provincial actor. Oleg then reconnected with the Gusinoozerskaya Power Station and began preparing to apply to theater universities in Moscow. The following year, Oleg Solovyov was already in Moscow. He applied to two theater universities, the Moscow Art Theatre School and the Shchukin Theatre Institute, and was accepted into both. Oleg chose the Moscow Art Theatre School and successfully graduated from the studio school in 2004. He was then accepted into the troupe of the Moscow Art Theatre named after A. Chekhov, led by artistic director Oleg Pavlovich Tabakov. He worked there until 2006. While still a student, Oleg Solovyov appeared in episodes of the TV series "Secret Sign" and "Moscow Saga," the short film "Wait," and Natalia Naumova's drama "The Year of the Horse - the Scorpio Constellation." In 2005, the actor played the role of Rudakov in the 16-episode detective series "Calling" by director Victor Sergeev. Oleg Solovyov gained fame with the release of the TV series "Doomed to Become a Star," where he portrayed the character Nikita. It is worth noting that the casting for this role was quite rigorous, with about 400 applicants. Oleg Solovyov managed to prove that he was worthy of the role. The reward for this was his first fans, who began to recognize the young actor on the street. Oleg Solovyov recalls that it first happened in Ukraine, during the shooting: "It was very hot, and I went to the store to buy fermented baked milk. Behind the counter was a middle-aged woman tired from her worries. At first, she paid no attention to me. Then suddenly she brightened up, a smile appeared on her face, and in Russian with a pronounced Ukrainian accent, she said, 'What! I can't believe my eyes, it's Nikita! I recognized you immediately!' And she ran for a piece of paper to ask for my autograph. We talked for a long time..." Oleg respects his fans. "Fans are part of our profession, and you must accept them as they are. They evaluate the actor's level of skill, and you, in turn, must respect them for their selfless love and loyalty," he says. After the series "Doomed to Become a Star," Oleg Solovyov appeared as criminal authority Mikhail Boyarov in the detective film "Dozen of Justice" (2007), made a guest appearance in one of the episodes of the comedy series "Who is the Boss in the House?," played Yulia's boyfriend in the series "Redhead," and also portrayed Private Mineev in the sixteenth season of the popular series "Soldiers." Oleg Solovyov admits that work takes up most of his time, so he often lacks time for hobbies. Nevertheless, he finds a free minute to read his favorite books (Oleg prefers English literature, which he reads in the original) and go to the gym to practice karate (to maintain his physical fitness). His secret to success lies in perseverance and optimism. "A person who knows what they want from life will always achieve it," says the actor. "And every time it seems like there is no way out, don't despair: it exists, you just haven't seen it or realized it yet. You must be optimistic in life, and you will definitely succeed. Be confident, and you will achieve great results in any field."
