Siou's great-grandmother, Nadezhda Dmitrievna Levshina, was a member of the aristocratic Levshin family and lived with him in Paris during his early life.

After completing his education at Lycée Marcel Roby in Saint-Germain-en-Laye and the Versailles Academy of Cinematographic Arts in Paris, Siou embarked on an early acting career in France. He notably played Laurent in the Franco-Canadian film "Highlander."
