Early Life and Career

Anderson Conceição dos Santos, commonly known as Calisto, was born and raised in Brazil. He began his professional football career at Santa Rita, a club based in the municipality of Boca da Mata.

Move to Russia

In 2003, Calisto joined Rubin Kazan, a Russian Premier League club. He spent four successful seasons with Rubin, establishing himself as a key defender and contributing to the team's bronze medal finish in the 2003 championship.

Return to Brazil

After the expiration of his contract with Rubin in 2007, Calisto decided to return to his homeland. He initially signed with Vasco da Gama of Rio de Janeiro but later moved to Botafogo in 2009.

Later Career

Following brief stints at Botafogo, Olaria, and Audax Rio, Calisto joined Santa Rita in 2015. He retired from professional football in 2016.
