Owen Coyle, born on July 14, 1966, in Paisley, Scotland, is a professional Scottish footballer and coach. From 1985 to 2007, he played for various clubs in the English Premier League and the Scottish Championship. Coyle is currently working as part of the 'Wigan Athletic' staff, and according to football analysts, he is the main contender for the position of head coach at 'Motherwell' team.

Early Career and Football Success

From a young age, Coyle played football with his brothers, Joe and Tommy, who also achieved success in the world of professional football. In 1985, he began his professional career playing for the Scottish club 'Dumbarton,' where his brothers also played. Over the course of three seasons, Coyle became a key player in the attack, appearing on the field over 100 times and scoring 36 goals.

In 1988, Coyle's contract with 'Dumbarton' expired, leading to a competition among scouts from various clubs. Eventually, he signed with 'Clydebank,' but it took him some time to settle in and establish a regular presence on the field. However, due to his high level of play, Coyle started scoring more frequently, netting a goal every other game.

Success at 'Airdrieonians'

The next team Coyle played for was 'Airdrieonians,' where he showcased his skills in his first appearance, scoring three beautiful goals.
