Biography of Pamela Voorhees
Pamela Sue Voorhees (1930), a fictional character, is the main antagonist in the first film of the "Friday the 13th" series. She is also the mother of Jason Voorhees, a key character in the overall film series. According to the film "Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter," Pamela was born in 1930. At the age of 15, she became pregnant by a man named Elias Voorhees. Their romance and marriage were short-lived, and little information about their relationship remains. It is known that Pamela kept her school ring, which once belonged to her husband, and wore it on the ring finger of her left hand.

On June 13, 1946, Pamela gave birth to her son Jason. Jason was born with hydrocephalus, which prevented him from attending school. Pamela took care of him with excessive force. Later, Pamela managed to become a cook at Camp Crystal Lake. It was in this camp that Jason Voorhees died. Constantly bullied by other children, he attempted to prove that he could swim. Escaping from his cabin late at night, Jason drowned in the lake. The camp counselors, who were supposed to watch over the children, did not stop Jason as they were at a party in one of the cabins. Pamela blamed the negligent counselors for her son's death.

Over time, Pamela's anger escalated, and voices in her head pushed her to kill those responsible for her son's death. A year later, Pamela gave in to the voices and killed two counselors, Barry and Claudette. Shortly after, the camp was closed and became known as "Camp Blood." In 1962, the camp's management attempted to reopen it, but Pamela returned and sabotaged their efforts by poisoning the local water supply and setting fires. The culprits behind the arson and poisoning were never discovered, and the camp remained closed until 1979. Pamela claimed that her actions were motivated by a desire to prevent further accidents at the camp.

On June 13, 1979, a new group of people arrived at the camp, including the new owner, Steve Christy, and seven young counselors. Despite ominous prophecies, the preparations to reopen the camp were not interrupted. In the end, Pamela, driven by madness, killed seven out of the eight camp guests. The only survivor was a counselor named Alice Hardy, who told Pamela about Jason's death. In the ensuing conflict, Pamela almost killed Alice, shouting with her late son's voice, "Kill her, mommy." However, Alice managed to decapitate Pamela with a machete. Jason preserved his mother's severed head and built a shrine in a secluded cabin deep in the woods, where it was stored.
Pamela Voorhees' remains were buried next to her son's on the "Eternal Peace Cemetery" after Jason was killed by Tommy Jarvis. Unlike her legendary son, Pamela was not immortal. However, she made several appearances in the film series. In the movie "Friday the 13th Part 2," one of Jason's victims managed to deceive him by showing him Pamela's severed head. In "Friday the 13th, Part III," a survivor named Chris Higgins witnessed Pamela's resurrection in a nightmare. Pamela wore a blue sweater and had her head attached to her shoulders, attempting to drag Chris into the lake. Betsy Palmer portrayed Pamela Voorhees in all these appearances.
In a recent reboot of the franchise, Pamela Voorhees had a relatively small role. In the beginning of the film, she was shown chasing a young girl, presumably Alice. Like in the original film, Pamela eventually lost her head. A young Jason Voorhees found a locket with pictures of him and his mother, and her voice commanded him to start killing in her name.
