Panivalkova: A Journey in Indie-Pop

Formation and Early Years

Panivalkova emerged as a Ukrainian indie-pop trio in March 2013 in Kyiv. Characterizing their sound as "sensitive minimalism," the group made its debut performance at the "44" art club as part of the New Generation initiative.

Debut EP and Breakthrough

In 2014, Panivalkova released their debut EP, "Panivakova." This was followed by the release of their first music video for the song "Crazy Nikita" on March 8, 2015.

The trio gained recognition through numerous festival appearances, including:

Television Appearances and Endorsements

Panivalkova showcased their talent on the popular TV show "What? Where? When?" Additionally, their song "Crazy Nikita" was featured in an advertisement for Nova Poshta.

National Recognition

In 2017, Panivalkova competed in the second semi-final of the Ukrainian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest with their song "Dosazhdaet." They finished fourth in the competition.

Collaboration with MAKI

Beginning in 2017, Panivalkova established a partnership with the Ukrainian clothing brand MAKI.

End of an Era

On March 19, 2019, Panivalkova announced their closure as a group on social media. The project had officially ended on January 1, 2019.
