She became paralyzed from the chest down after being involved in a car accident with her husband almost twenty years ago. Discovering a New Possibility

One day, Tyron Swan, a 23-year-old surfer, came to visit Pascale at her home. During their conversation, a daring thought struck Tyron - what if he could give this incredible and kind-hearted woman the opportunity to ride a wave? Tyron, being strong, fit, and trained, saw the possibility of carrying Pascale on his back while surfing. Initially skeptical, Pascale's sons eventually joined in to prepare their paralyzed mother for her transformation into a surfer. People called them crazy, but the brave surfers knew they were simply pushing the boundaries of what was considered possible.

Overcoming Challenges

On a beautiful day, Tyron strapped a specially designed backpack-like contraption onto his back and placed Pascale inside. He secured her tightly to his body with adhesive tape and, with a surfboard in hand, they set off to catch a wave. For Pascale, it was an exhilarating experience. After 18 years of immobility, she felt as if she could move again. She forgot that she was paralyzed. Pascale described it as the most exciting moment of her life, a feeling she would never forget.
