María del Carmen Walsh
María del Carmen Walsh, an eminent Argentine social psychologist and leftist politician, was born into a notable family. Her father was the acclaimed writer Rodolfo Walsh, and her elder sister, Victoria Walsh, tragically perished in 1976 during the military dictatorship.
Political Career
Walsh actively engaged in politics as a member of the Trotskyist Socialist Workers' Party (MST).
