Early Life and Influences
Patrick "Paddy" Considine was born on September 5, 1973, in Burton-upon-Trent, Staffordshire, England. Growing up in a working-class suburb with his siblings, Considine's passion for the arts emerged at an early age.

Education and Collaboration
After completing school, Considine enrolled in Burton College to pursue a degree in performing arts. It was at this institution that he met Shane Meadows, who would become a lifelong creative partner. While attending college, Considine also played in a local rock band, a passion he continues to this day as a member of "Riding The Low."

Acting Career
Considine's acting career began when Meadows cast him in his second feature film, "A Room for Romeo Brass" (1999). He rose to prominence in 2004 with his acclaimed performance in Meadows' "Dead Man's Shoes," for which he co-wrote the screenplay. His breakout role caught the attention of director Paweł Pawlikowski, who cast him in "Last Resort" (2000). Considine's subsequent roles in Jim Sheridan's "In America" (2003) and Danny Boyle's "28 Days Later" (2002) cemented his status as a versatile and talented actor.
Directing Debut and Accolades
In 2007, Considine made his directorial debut with the award-winning short film "Dog Altogether." The film garnered critical acclaim and earned him a BAFTA for Best Short Film. Considine continued to balance his acting career with his work behind the camera, and in 2011, his directorial debut feature, "Tyrannosaur," received widespread recognition and accolades.
Hollywood Success
Considine's international success continued with his roles in "The Bourne Ultimatum" (2007), "Hot Fuzz" (2007), and "The World's End" (2013). He has also appeared in numerous acclaimed British television series, including "Peaky Blinders" (2013-2022) and "The Outsider" (2020).
Personal Life and Interests
Outside of his professional endeavors, Considine is a passionate supporter of Burton Albion Football Club. He is known for his love of music and his involvement in the local Burton music scene. Considine currently resides in Burton-upon-Trent with his wife and three children.
