Kyle Ivan Secor

In 1981, Kyle moved to Los Angeles with hopes of starting a career in film. However, the capital of show business didn't give in easily, and he had to work in various places to start with - as a yoga instructor, assistant manager at a pizzeria, janitor, and more. Despite this, the aspiring actor continued to attend auditions and it wasn't until 1986 that he landed a supporting role in the series "Santa Barbara".

Breakthrough

A pivotal moment in Kyle Secor's acting career came in 1991 when he landed five film roles, not including television projects. Among the films of that year were Ron Underwood's Oscar-winning western "City Slickers", W.D. Shortly after, Secor joined the cast of the series "Homicide: Life on the Street" as Detective Tim Bayliss. His portrayal of the youngest member of the department, sometimes finding himself in absurd situations but eventually becoming a true professional, resonated with the audience. This role brought him the greatest popularity and recognition, as he embodied his character for seven years. It's no wonder that viewers began to associate the actor primarily with his character.
