Patrick Reimer
Patrick Reimer is a German professional ice hockey forward currently playing for the Nürnberg Ice Tigers of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL) and the German national team.
Early Career
Reimer began his professional career in 2001 with ESV Kaufbeuren of the Oberliga, Germany's third-tier league. He helped the team gain promotion to the DEL2, Germany's second-tier league, in the following season.
DEL Career
After three seasons as a key player for ESV Kaufbeuren, Reimer joined DEL team DEG Metro Stars. He struggled initially but gradually improved, scoring 19 goals in the regular season and 7 in the playoffs during the 2007/08 season. He continued to perform consistently, averaging 40-43 points per regular season. In 2012, he moved to the Nürnberg Ice Tigers.
International Career
Reimer made his debut for the German national team in 2010/11. He has represented Germany at the 2011 World Championship.
Personal Life
Reimer has a younger brother, Jochen, who is also a professional hockey player. They played together for ESV Kaufbeuren and DEG Metro Stars. Jochen Reimer is now the starting goalie for EHC München and the German national team.
