Paul Belmondo: A French Racing Driver and Actor
Paul Belmondo is a French racing driver and actor, best known for his career in Formula-1. He was born on April 23, 1963, as the son of the famous actor Jean-Paul Belmondo.
Formula-1 Career
In 1992, Paul Belmondo made his debut in Formula-1, driving for the March team. He also competed for the Pacific team in the 1994 season. Although his Formula-1 career was relatively short, Belmondo showcased his skill and passion for racing during his time in the sport.
Other Racing Achievements
Apart from his Formula-1 career, Belmondo participated in various other racing competitions. He competed in the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans race twelve times, with appearances in 1985, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1999, 2001, 2004, and 2005. Belmondo also participated in the Dakar Rally five times, in the years 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006, successfully completing the race twice. Additionally, he competed in the Andros Trophy five times, in 1993, 1994, 1995, 2009, and 2010.
Personal Life
Since 1990, Paul Belmondo has been married to Luana Belmondo. The couple has three sons together: Alessandro, born in 1992, Victor, born in 1994, and Giacomo, born in 1999. Apart from his racing career, Belmondo has also pursued acting, following in the footsteps of his famous father.
