Oleksandr Halimon: A Ukrainian Politician and Entrepreneur
Early Life and EducationOleksandr Halimon is a Ukrainian entrepreneur and politician who was born and raised in Pryluky, Chernihiv Oblast. In 2005, he graduated from the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law Academy, specializing in training personnel for the prosecution authorities.
Business Career
Halimon has held various positions in the business sector. He currently serves as the Financial Director of LLC "Prometey-Gaz 1," a company primarily involved in freight road transport. He has also served as the Director of LLC "Agro-House" and as the Head of the Registration Service of the Pryluky District Justice Department in Chernihiv Oblast.
Political Journey
Halimon entered the political arena in 2014, running for the Mayor of Pryluky. In 2015, he ran for the Chernihiv Regional Council as a candidate from the "Our Edge" party. During the 2019 presidential election, he served as Vladimir Zelensky's official representative in the Chernihiv Oblast.
Member of Parliament
In the 2019 parliamentary elections, Halimon was elected to the Verkhovna Rada on the list of the "Servant of the People" party. He serves as Deputy Chairman of the party's parliamentary faction and Chairman of the Chernihiv Regional Organization of the party.

Within the Verkhovna Rada, Halimon holds the position of Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy.
Family and Personal Life
Halimon is married to Oksana, an entrepreneur. Together, they have a daughter named Sofia.
