Early Life and Career
Viktor Pavlovich Ishchenko was born in Reutov, Russian SFSR, on an unspecified date. He began his football career in 1925 with the team of the Reutov Spinning Factory.
Military Service and Coaching
In 1930, Ishchenko joined the Central House of the Red Army (CDKA) as both a player and administrator. He participated in 58 matches during the Soviet Union championships.
From 1947 to 1948, Ishchenko served as coach for the team of the Group of Soviet Forces in Germany.
Managerial Career
"Kairat" Alma-Ata (1956-1959)Ishchenko was appointed senior coach of "Kairat" Alma-Ata in 1956. He remained at the helm of the Kazakh club for three seasons.
"Lokomotiv" Oryol (1960-1962)
In 1960, Ishchenko moved to "Lokomotiv" Oryol as their senior coach. He spent two years with the Russian club.
"Metallurg" Djizak (1963-1967)
From 1963 to 1967, Ishchenko took on the role of senior coach for "Metallurg" Djizak, a club based in the Uzbek SSR.
