Rise to Success

One of Petra Kvitova's most well-known strengths is her powerful left-handed serve. At the 2011 Wimbledon Championships, she hit 36 aces, which was the third-highest among women players. Kvitova is also known for her strong and well-timed shots, making up for any lack of speed by playing from the backcourt.

She then faced Elena Dementieva but was unable to secure a victory.
