Pietro Gandolfi
The Early Years
Born into a family with a passion for motorsport, Italian racing prodigy Gandolafi was behind the wheel of a go-kart from the tender age of four. His early years were marked by a rapid climb through the ranks of karting, honing his skills and developing his love for the sport.
Formula Renault and Beyond
In 2006, Gandolafi made the transition to single-seaters, competing in five races of the Italian Formula Renault Championship. The following year saw him venture into the Swiss Formula Renault Championship, finishing a respectable 21st overall. Despite returning to the same series in 2007, Gandolafi experienced a slight setback, dropping to 26th in the standings.
Joining Formula 2
Undeterred by the challenges, Gandolafi made a bold move in 2009 by joining the newly revived FIA Formula 2 Championship. Competing under the number 9, he entered a competitive field of drivers and embarked on a new chapter in his racing career.
