Early Career
Pol Lirola(born 13 August 1997) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a defender for Serie A club Sassuolo. He is a product of Espanyol's youth system.
Juventus Loan
In January 2015, Lirola was loaned to Juventus and initially played for their youth team. In the summer of 2015, he signed a permanent contract with the "Old Lady".
Loan to Sassuolo
On 28 July 2016, Lirola was sent on a two-year loan to Sassuolo. He made his professional debut on 25 August 2016 in a Europa League match against Red Star Belgrade, starting the game and playing the full 90 minutes.
Serie A Debut
Lirola made his Serie A debut on 18 September 2016 in a match against Genoa.
