Biography of Polina Sidikhina

Polina Sidikhina was born on October 26, 1988, in St. Petersburg, Russia. She grew up in a family of renowned actor Evgeny Sidikhin, and like most children of actors, Polina spent a lot of time behind the scenes of the theater. At a very young age, she made her debut on the stage of the Bolshoi Drama Theater (BDT) in St. Petersburg, playing the role of an angel without any lines. Despite her initial fears, Polina enjoyed wearing the elaborate costumes for her role.

Early Acting Career

Even as a child, Polina had dreams of becoming an actress and couldn't imagine herself in any other profession. Her first experience in front of the camera came at the age of 13-14 when she appeared in small roles in films such as "Antikiller" and "Gangster Petersburg - 3." Although these roles were small, they provided Polina with valuable on-screen experience.

Education and Early Roles

After completing school, Polina enrolled in the St. Petersburg Academy of Theatre Arts, studying under the guidance of G. M. Kozlov. In the latter, Polina played the modest role of translator Natalia Puchkova, performing her lines in English.

Rise to Fame

Polina's breakthrough role came in 2008 when she portrayed Alena Okuneva in the TV series "Ryzhaya" (The Redhead).
