Early Life and Career in Brazil
Anderson Paulino de Souza was born in Brazil and began his football career at the Faben club. In 2004, he moved to Carlos Barbosa, where he played for a short time before making the decision to immigrate to Russia.
Transition to Russia and International Success
In 2004, Anderson moved to Russia and signed with the Moscow-based club Arbat. Two years later, he joined Dynamo Moscow, where he became a key player. In January 2008, he received Russian citizenship and was subsequently called up to the Russian national team.
With the Russian team, Anderson became the top scorer at the 2008 FIFA Futsal World Cup. He also earned silver medals at the 2012 and 2014 UEFA European Futsal Championships.
Club Career
In addition to his international achievements, Anderson has also had a successful club career. He won the Brazilian Futsal League and Cup in 2001. After moving to Russia, he won six Russian Futsal Premier League titles with Dynamo Moscow. He also lifted the UEFA Futsal Cup in 2007.
Later Career and Retirement
In 2016, Anderson spent a brief period in India, playing for Kolkata. Later that year, he joined MFK КПРФ Moscow. He continued to play professionally until his retirement in 2022.
