Biography of Raffaele Trevisani

Raffaele Trevisani was born in Milan, Italy in 1955. He graduated from The Milan Conservatory, where he studied under the renowned Sir James Galway.

Solo Career and Orchestral Experience

Trevisani's solo career as a flutist began with the chamber orchestra 'I Solisti Veneti' (The Venetian Soloists). He then went on to participate in numerous classical concerts in Italy and around the world. He performed with the Paduan Chamber Orchestra, the chamber orchestra of La Scala Theater, and many other ensembles. He has also had the opportunity to perform with the Moscow Chamber Orchestra, and his flute can be heard on a recording dedicated to C.Ph.E Bach. Another collaborative album with a Russian chamber ensemble features flute concertos with an orchestra, both of which were released on the 'Delos International label'.
