Before participating in the reality show, Hein played volleyball and earned a scholarship to attend college. Reality Show Journey

In her first interview and on her website, Hein revealed that she was not popular growing up and was quite shy. She faced teasing and bullying but never let it get to her. With the support of her friends, Hein decided to try her luck on the reality show "America's Next Top Model" and surprised herself by making it into the competition. Throughout the show, Hein stood out for her positive attitude and unique appearance. She was even compared to actresses Denise Richards and Brooke Shields. However, she faced criticism for not having the typical slender and petite model physique. Despite a less successful episode titled "Hobbits vs. Models," which led to a series of unsuccessful photos, Hein made it to the final alongside Krista White. The judges were impressed by Hein's stunning photographs but ultimately felt that White had a better chance at an international career. Hein finished in second place.

Modeling Career

After the show, Hein's modeling career took off. She walked in the summer collection fashion show for Jenny Carle and worked with Cliche Boutique. She appeared in the May 2010 issue of Seventeen magazine and Metro magazine. Additionally, she became the face of Symphony Retailers in Dubai, graced the cover of Glamor Couture, and posed for Ellie Lavelle Spring 2011. Hein also appeared in advertisements for Anytime Fitness and Macy's. She stands at a height of 177.8 cm, with green eyes and dark brown hair.
