Early Life and Education
Born in Kazakhstan, the diplomat had a distinguished career spanning several decades. In 1962, he joined the Young Communist League (VLCYSM). He graduated from the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute in 1970 and later pursued advanced studies at the Academy of Social Sciences under the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (AON) in 1980.
Political Career in Kazakhstan
The diplomat's initial career was marked by his involvement in the youth movement and regional Communist Party positions. He held roles such as engineer-mechanic, secretary of the Komsomol committee, head of the Republican Komsomol School, and various positions within the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of Kazakhstan. In 1978, he became the First Secretary of the Turkestan City Party Committee. From 1980 to 1986, he served as the chairman of the Chimkent City Executive Committee.
Diplomatic Career
After further studies at the AON, the diplomat pursued a diplomatic career. He served as an inspector and Second Secretary of the Chimkent Regional Party Committee from 1989 to 1991. He was also the deputy chairman of the Chimkent Regional Executive Committee from 1991 to 1992. In 1992, he became the First Vice President of the republican concern "Kazpharmmbioprom."
The diplomat's diplomatic career began in May 1995 when he was appointed Ambassador of Kazakhstan to India. He served in this role until August 1998. Subsequently, he was appointed Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan, and concurrently Ambassador to Georgia from January 1999.
Ambassadorship to Europe and Balkans
In July 2002, the diplomat resumed his ambassadorial post in Europe, serving as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. On May 15, 2006, he was appointed Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Hungary and relieved of his duties in the Baltic countries.
The diplomat's final diplomatic appointments included serving as Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Bosnia and Herzegovina (2006), Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, and Slovenia (2007).
