Biography of Richard Schiff
Richard Schiff was born in 1955 in Bethesda, Maryland, USA, into a family of a lawyer Edward Schiff and his wife Charlotte Schiff, who worked in television. However, his parents divorced when Richard was 12 years old. Not particularly interested in science, Schiff dropped out of City College of New York, but returned in 1975 to study acting.

Acting Career
Richard Schiff's acting career began in the 1980s, but it initially progressed slowly. He appeared in several TV series, including "L.A. Law" and "Murphy Brown." However, in the 1990s, his film career took off. In 1992 alone, Richard appeared in eight movies, including "Hoffa" with Jack Nicholson, "The Bodyguard" with Kevin Costner, Spike Lee's acclaimed drama "Malcolm X" with Denzel Washington, and several other well-known films. In 1994, Schiff starred alongside Keanu Reeves in the Oscar-winning action film "Speed."
